The new English Premier League season starts on Friday and ahead of the big kick off we look at selected outright betting markets.

Taking a long term bet can give you a financial interest from the first day of the season to the last and we have all bases covered with a whole host of markets. You can view all the options here whilst below we focus on the title race, relegation and top goalscorer and please note that all odds are correct at the time of writing but are subject to change.

English Premier League Outright Winner BET NOW

Man City 18/10

Chelsea 7/2

Man Utd 7/2

Tottenham 9/1

Arsenal 12/1

Liverpool 12/1

Everton 80/1

The Verdict:

Chelsea are defending champions but unlike last season they have European football to add to their schedule this time around and whilst you have to respect their chances, the Manchester clubs, who have made eye catching signings, might be a better bet. Right now Spurs are basically unchanged from last season whilst Liverpool’s recruitment doesn’t suggest they are on a par with the top three in the betting. Arsenal have swapped Champions League football for the Europa League and that less tasking adventure might well aid their domestic campaign. Everton look realistic top 4 challengers but they will do well to stay with the pace. With Mourinho and Guardiola now in their second season’s we fancy Manchester is where the title will land and slight preference is for City who look to have more depth in their squad.

English Premier League To be Relegated (Bottom 3) BET NOW

Huddersfield 13/20

Brighton 12/10

Burnley 13/0

Watford 18/10

Swansea 2/1

Newcastle Utd 7/2

Crystal Palace 9/2

Bournemouth Afc 6/1

West Brom 6/1

The Verdict:

What comes up used to be a good bet to go straight back down but in recent season’s we have seen big clubs such as Aston Villa and Sunderland cut adrift and sunk without trace whilst the Burnley’s and the Bournemouth’s have survived. That said, of the clubs promoted from the Championship last season Huddersfield will do well to keep their heads above the drop zone but the price is short. Elsewhere from the list of “most likely” relegation candidates, Watford, who did well in 2016/17, could be in for a big struggle this time around.

Top Premier League Goalscorer BET NOW

Kane, Harry Edward 3/1

Lukaku, Romelu 4/1

Aguero, Sergio 13/2

Jesus, Gabriel 9/1

Morata, Alvaro 10/1

Lacazette, Alexandre 12/1

Sanchez, Alexis 14/1

The Verdict:

This is a great market and last season Kane (29) came home ahead of Lukaku (25), Sanchez (24) and Aguero (20). Lukaku’s move to Old Trafford will means he will have plenty of betting support whilst Sanchez now has competition from Lacazette as well as Giroud at Arsenal. The sheer volume of goals Manchester City are expected to score brings Aguero and Jesus into the equation but Morata will have to settle in to Chelsea quickly if he is to be a factor. The current favourite, Harry Kane has plenty going for him and if he can stay injury free, he will be hard to catch.

Other Bets: BET NOW

Regional betting markets are also available and on the south coast we have a trio of clubs, Southampton, Bournemouth and Brighton to consider.  The Saints would normally be the “go to” team here given they have been stable in the top flight for some time whilst survival will most likely be the name of the game for Brighton. However, we like Bournemouth who have invested heavily in the squad and their acquisitions might not be over just yet. With the excellent Eddie Howe in charge, Bournemouth can be top dogs of the three sides in their region.

Bet Summary:

Title Man City at 18/10

Relegation Watford at 18/10

Top Goalscorer Kane at 3/1

Top South Coast club Bournemouth at 5/2

Enjoy the season..!!!
