Formula 1, 2017 Belgian Grand Prix, Betting Preview

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Stavelot plays host to the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday the 27th August.

Sebastian Vettel crossed the line in 1st place 4 weeks ago in the Hungarian Grand Prix ahead of his teammate Kimi Raikkonen in 2nd spot. Lewis Hamilton had slowed down coming out of the last corner on the last lap which allowed Valtteri Bottas to complete the podium in 3rd with Hamilton settling for 4th.

Vettel had started the race just 1 point ahead of Hamilton but with this win he now leads him by 14 points and he has shortened from 16/10 to 13/10 to win the title.

Suggested Bet: Lewis Hamilton win at 8/10

At first glance the price on Vettel seems generous as he leads the championship and won here back in 2013. Hamilton though will come hard at him and if there is a track that suits the Mercedes it is this one with its long straights and high speed, sweeping corners. I am backing the 2015 champion Hamilton to do the business and safe in the knowledge that the 2nd place “Money Back” promo applies – see banner below.
