Formula 1, Canadian Grand Prix 2017, Betting Preview

The Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal plays host to the Canadian Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday the 11th June.

Sebastian Vettel took 1st place in the Monaco Grand Prix a fortnight ago and it was Ferrari’s first win in Monaco since 2001 and with Vettel’s team mate Kimi Raikkonen taking 2nd spot it was also their 1st and 2nd finish since the German GP in 2010.  Raikkonen had started the race in pole position and broke the record for the most F1 race starts.  Daniel Ricciardo completed the podium while Lewis Hamilton could only finish the race in 7th position.

Vettel has now extended his lead over Hamilton by 25 points in the Championship Standings and he is into 13/20 to win the title with Hamilton out to 13/10 his biggest price of the season to date.

Suggested Bet: Sebastian Vettel win at 14/10

It is starting to look as though Vettel may gradually be getting the better of Hamilton on a more consistent basis and although Hamilton has won here 3 of the last 5 renewals in Canada I am going to side with the form man and the form team. Remember if you back Vettel (or anyone else for that matter) there is a “Money Back” promotion if he runs 2nd, details on the banner below.
