The Monza circuit plays host to the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday the 3rd September and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
Lewis Hamilton celebrated his 3rd Belgian GP victory last week when he took the chequered flag. He had started the race from pole position which was his 68th of his career and this result saw him equalling Michael Schumacher’s record for all time pole positions. He was followed by title rival Sebastian Vettel in 2nd with Daniel Ricciardo completing the podium.
Vettel had started the race with a 14 point lead over Hamilton and that has now been reduced to 7 points and Hamilton has firmed from 7/10 to 9/20 with Vettel drifting to 18/10 from 13/10.

Suggested Bet: Vettel win at 34/10
I was on Hamilton last week at just shy of 1/1 but at current prices I am prepared to take him on even though he has a great record here and the title race momentum is once again titling in his favour. Vettel won here in 2013 so also likes the track and at over 6 times the price of Hamilton he looks the value especially given the “Money Back” Promo for 2nd place – see details on the banner below.
