Australia’s tour of India concludes in Hyderabad on Friday when the third of the T20 Internationals will decide the series.
India won the opening match of the series in Ranchi by 9 wickets although that was a rain hit contest with the Indian chase restricted to 6 overs. On Tuesday in Guwahati it was a different story as the Australian’s quickly put themselves in the ascendancy thanks largely to Jason Behrendorff who took 4 wickets at a cost of just 21 runs in his 4 over spell. Kedar Jadhav top scored with 27 as India limped to a total of 118 all out in their 20 overs.
The Australian chase started badly as openers Finch and Warner fell cheaply. However Moises Henriques (62 not out) and Travis Head (48 not out) were in no mood to let the series slide away from the visitors and the target was reached in just 15.3 overs.
Australia hit 5 maximums to India’s 2 and Jason Behrendorff was named Man of the Match for his excellent spell of bowling.
After losing the ODI series 4-1 Australia now have the chance to salvage something from the tour. Their victory on Tuesday was their first against this opponent on Indian soil and it came at the fifth attempt.

Bet: Most Match Sixes, Australia at 11/10
Warner and Henriques are no strangers to Hyderabad given their involvement with the Sunrisers and that local knowledge could help the visitors hit the most sixes.
