The Cleveland Cavaliers have taken a 2-1 series lead in the best of 7 finals series but the Golden State Warriors remain slight favourites to take the championship.

For the 1st time in NBA Finals history both the opening matches went to overtime. The Warriors won the opener but the Cavaliers gained revenge in match 2 just getting up. They then led from start to finish in match 3 eventually beating the Warriors by 5 points and withstanding a 4th quarter comeback.
