Roger Federer goes in search of yet another title when he takes on Dominic Thiem in the final of the Indian Wells Masters on Sunday.
Dominic Thiem v Roger Federer
4th seed Roger Federer was handed his place in the final when 2nd seed Rafael Nadal withdrew before their semi-final with a knee injury. Federer had been in superb form leading up to the semi-final and he has yet to drop a set in the tournament. He also won the last tournament he played in Dubai. 7th seed Dominic Thiem had to work hard for his spot in the final overcoming 13th seed Raonic 7-6, 6-7 and 6-4. Thiem has also been in good form and like Federer has had a walk over which came in the quarter-final when Monfils withdrew.
The pair have met 4 times on the ATP Tour with each player winning twice and their last meeting was in 2018 at the ATP World Tour Finals where Federer came through in straight sets.

Dominic Thiem 27/10
Roger Federer 7/20
Suggested Bet: Correct set score, Federer 2-0 at 8/10
Federer is in excellent form and Thiem will certainly have the heavier legs of the pair after his tough semi-final. While Thiem might have beaten Federer twice, these victories came on grass and clay. Both meetings they have had on hard surfaces have been won in straight sets by Federer and I am expecting more of the same.
