South African Kevin Anderson takes on former world number 1 Novak Djokovic in the Wimbledon final on Sunday and we take a look at the match from a betting angle.
Kevin Anderson v Novak Djokovic
8th seeded South African Kevin Anderson booked his place in the final with a marathon 5 set win over big serving 9th seed John Isner. He eventually won 26-24 in the 5th set having also taken 5 sets to beat Federer 13-11 as he sent the multiple champion packing in the last 8. Anderson is playing amazing tennis but he has now had 3 very long matches in a row and fatigue could be a factor.
12th seed Djokovic beat 24th seed Nishikori in 4 sets in his quarter-final and he then beat long time rival Nadal in 5 sets in a match that started on Friday nut ended on Saturday due to the length of the Anderson semi-final.
Djokovic holds a 5-1 career edge over Anderson and the pair last met in the last 16 at Wimbledon in 2015 when Djokovic came from 2 sets down to win in 5.

Suggested Bet: Total Games Over 39.5 at 17/20
If Anderson has recovered from his marathon against Isner he should be competitive and I am tempted to back him at 4/1 for the win. The bet I prefer though is that we get 40 games or more which would mean the match would need to go to at least 4 sets.
