Australia lost a 2 match series (1-0) to Pakistan in the UAE in October. They drew the first test match with a terrific rearguard action but crashed to a 373 run defeat in the second game. That was Australia’s first test match series since the highly controversial tour of South Africa where the ball tampering scandal saw Steve Smith and David Warner banned. They lost that series 3-1.

Bets: India to win at 14/10
This should be a gripping series and although there is little between the sides in the match result betting, slight preference is for India to draw first blood.
