West Indies tour of Bangladesh concludes in Dhaka on Saturday when the teams meet in the third T20 International and the winner will claim the series.
The opening match of this series was staged in Sylhet and WIndies sprang a surprise with a comfortable 8 wicket win. The second clash was staged in Dhaka and Bangladesh levelled the series with a 36 run victory.
The home side were bowled out for just 129 in the first match but on Thursday at this venue it was a different story. Liton Das made 60 runs and at the end of the Bangladesh innings Shakib Al Hasan was unbeaten on 42 and Mamudullah 43 as the hosts posted 211/4 in their 20 overs. The innings included 6 maximums and only one WIndies bowler returned an economy rate of less than 9.25.
In the chase WIndies lost opener Evin Lewis cheaply and despite 36 from Shai Hope and 50 from Rovman Powell they fell behind the rate and were bowled out for 175. Shakib took 5 wickets to land our suggested Man of the Match bet and the series is now all square.
This was how the teams lined up on Thursday
Bangladesh: Shakib Al Hasan (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mushfiqur Rahim, Mahmudullah, Mustafizur Rahman, Mehidy Hasan, Mohammad Saifuddin, Abu Hider Rony, Ariful Haque
