Brazil were not at their fluent best in the group stages but they did enough to top Group E with two victories and a draw. That draw came 1st up against Switzerland, followed by 2-0 wins over Costa Rica and Serbia. All three of Brazil’s group matches delivered for under 2.5 goal backers.
Mexico finished 2nd to Sweden in Group F having won 2 and lost 1 of their matches. They opened with a stunning 1-0 upset victory over Germany and then beat the Republic of Korea 2-1 before going down 2-0 to Sweden.
These sides last met in a friendly in 2015 with Brazil winning 2-0 and they played to a goalless draw in the group stages of the 1014 World Cup.
Suggested bet: Brazil Clean Sheet, YES, at 9/10.
Brazil have an excellent defence and I think that Mexico will battle to break them down and am backing the Brazilians not to concede a goal.
