The early market leaders, Classify and Forest Fox both run off a light mass but there could be better value in siding with Sean Tarry’s French Navy.  Despite returning from a break French Navy is very much at home over this course and distance and Khumalo takes the ride. Tarry also saddles Finchatton, Tahini and Tilbury Fort in a highly competitive field.

There are plenty of others with chances in a wide open betting heat including New Predator who won this race last year and is drawn well whilst 4 year old Hat Puntano is making his local debut.

However for back up we go with Mac de Lago who could finish strongly to run into a place. The 6 year old’s last win came over the mile trip and he could pop up if granted a degree of luck in running.
