The second ODI between England and India takes place at Lords on Saturday and India are 1-0 up with two to play.
The first match of the series was staged at Nottingham on Thursday and India coasted to an 8 wicket win. Another victory here would clinch the series whilst England need to level things up to take the matters to a decider in Leeds next week.
England started well at Trent Bridge with Roy and Bairstow putting on 73 for the first wicket in 10.2 overs but both openers fell for scores of 38 and India kept things pretty tight thereafter. There were solid contributions from Stokes (50)and Buttler (53) in the middle order and the England innings closed on 268 all out in 49.5 overs.
Kuldeep Yadav returned figures of 6/25 in his 10 overs and India were in control.
The chase started off briskly and never ran out of steam. Sharma was unbeaten on 137 at the end whilst Dhawan made 40 and Kohli 75 and India got home with just under 10 overs to spare. Both teams hit 4 maximums but India were dominant as we head to Lords.
Head to Head
Overall the teams have met 97 times with England winning 39, India 53 and there have been 2 ties and 3 no results.

Bets: Most Sixes England at 8/10
England have plenty to do in terms of saving the series but regardless of the result we fancy they have more sixes in the locker than India.
