The second T20 international between England and India takes place in Cardiff on Friday and India are 1-0 up with 2 play.
The opening match of the series was staged in Manchester on Tuesday and although England started as clear favourites, India cruised to an 8 wicket victory.
England made a solid start with Roy (30) and Buttler (69) putting on 50 for the first stick in 5 overs. Those 2 aside David Willey (29 not out), batting at 8, was the only other England player to make it to double figures as the innings lost its way, closing on 159/8.
Kuldeep Yadav with 5/24 was top Indian bowler and India completed a successful chase in 18.2 overs with Lokesh Rahul unbeaten on 101 off just 54 balls.
Yadav’s 5 wickets saw him pip Rahul to the Man of the Match award and India hit 7 maximums to England’s 4. If India go in again here they will clinch the series ahead of the third and final contest which takes place at Bristol on Sunday.
