England v India 3rd Test Match Preview

The third test between England and India gets underway at Trent Bridge, Nottingham on Saturday and England are 2-0 up with three to play.

England won a thrilling first test at Edgbaston by 31 runs and they followed up at Lords last week, this time with a comprehensive innings and 159 run victory.

In the outright series markets a 4-1 England series win is currently priced at 33/10 and a 5-0 clean sweep is trading at the same price. You can view all the outright options here.

India’s batsmen struggled in the first test and they found it even harder to cope with the England bowling unit at Lords in the second match. India posted scores of 107 and 130 and in between England declared on 396/7.

It was a memorable test match for Chris Woakes who was unbeaten on 137 in England’s innings and Jimmy Anderson took 5 Indian wickets in the first innings and 4 more in the second.

As far as the team news for Trent Bridge is concerned England have the option to select Ben Stokes who missed the Lords test whilst India have some big calls to make in terms of their top order batting.
