EPL Preview, New Years Day 2019

532

The new year swings into action with 3 live English Premier League matches taking place on Tuesday and we suggest a bet in each.

Everton v Leicesterclick here to bet

Everton have dropped to 10th on the table after just 1 win in 7 starts. They were beaten 1-0 away at Brighton on the weekend and they are without a win in their last 3 home matches. They face 8th placed Leicester who were stunned when they lost 1-0 at home to Cardiff last time out. Thy have won 4 of 19 away matches and did beat Chelsea on the road the last time they travelled.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 9/10

With the exception of the Cardiff game Everton matches have been full of goals and I expect a free flowing affair in a fixture which would have seen this bet arrive the last 4 EPL meetings between the sides hosted by Everton.

Arsenal v Fulhamclick here to bet

Arsenal are 5th on the table but with just a single win in their last 4 starts. They are coming off a 5-1 loss at Liverpool but have won their last 3 home games. Fulham are 19th on the log but unbeaten in their last 3 matches including beating Huddersfield 1-0 at home last time out. They have yet to win on the road this season though conceding 4 goals for every 1 they have scored.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Arsenal -1 at 17/20

The Gunners won the reverse fixture 5-1 and should be too strong at home for this Fulham side.

Cardiff v Tottenhamclick here to bet

Cardiff are up to 16th on the table after a 1-0 win over Leicester away last time out. Their last home game was a 5-1 loss to Man United but prior to that they had won 3 home games in succession. Tottenham slipped back to 3rd on the table when their 5 match winning streak was ended in a shock 3-1 defeat to Wolves at home. They have won their last 2 away games.

Suggested Bet: Both Teams to Score – YES at 15/20

Spurs should win this but they looked shaky at the back against Wolves and Cardiff can also find the net.
