There are three English Premier League fixtures taking place on Sunday including the top of the table clash between Liverpool and Man City and we suggest a bet in each of them.
Fulham v Arsenal – click here to bet
Fulham have only taken 2 points from the last 12 they have played for and were hammered 3-0 away at Everton last weekend. They drew 1-1 with Watford in their last home game. They face an Arsenal side which has won 5 in a row and that beat Watford 2-0 at home in their last start. They have also won their last two away matches 2-1 at Newcastle and 3-2 at Cardiff.
Suggested bet: Over 3.5 goals at 19/20.
Both of these sides look full of goals and I am betting that we get at least 4 in the game.
Southampton v Chelsea – click here to bet
Southampton have only taken 4 points from the last 15 they have played for and they failed to score in their last 2 defeats away at Wolves and Liverpool. Their last home game was a 2-2 draw with Brighton. They face a Chelsea side which won their first 5 games and have subsequently drawn 2 in a row including conceding a late equaliser to draw 1-1 at home with Liverpool last weekend.
Suggested bet: Handicap, Southampton (+1), the draw at 27/10.
For this bet to arrive, Chelsea have to win by exactly 1 goal. The bet I give a good chance as they may be slightly jaded from European competition on Thursday night.
Liverpool v Manchester City – click here to bet
The clash of the weekend sees second place Liverpool at home to leaders Manchester City. The teams are both on 19 points from their 7 matches and are separated by goal difference.
Liverpool dropped their first points of the season when they drew 1-1 away at Chelsea last time out and they have yet to concede a goal at home in 3 matches all of which were victories. City have won 4 games in a row and their last away start was a 5-0 win over Cardiff and they have scored 8 goals on the road and conceded only 1.
Manchester City 17/10
Suggested bet: First-half, both teams to score, YES, at 24/10.
This is something of a speculative play in a game where I am struggling to pick a winner. I think we could see an open game with every chance that both teams score before half-time.
