Formula 1, Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2017, Betting Preview

The Yas Marina Circuit plays host to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend and the race will bring the curtain down on the 2017 season.

Lewis Hamilton has already wrapped up the title and is already priced up as a 14/10 favourite to win the 2018 title.

Sebastian Vettel was the winner in Brail a fortnight ago with our pick Valtteri Bottas 2nd (we got our stake back in free bets, see banner below) and Kimi Räikkönen rounded off the podium. Hamilton had to settle for 4th spot less than a second off a podium finish.

Drivers’ Standings

Hamilton 345

Vettel 302

Bottas 280

Ricciardo 200

Räikkönen 193

Race History

Lewis Hamilton started from pole position and went on to win the race.  His team-mate, Nico Rosberg finished in 2nd which secured him the Championship Title in what was a very tense finish with Hamilton slowing things down at times knowing he needed someone to finish between him and his teammate to take the title.  Sebastian Vettel completed the podium.

Prices correct at time of posting but will change in the lead up to the race and there are a number of other markets on offer.

Suggested Bet: Hamilton win at 9/10

With the title banked I am expecting Hamilton to be all business this week and given his record here of 2 wins in the last 3 starts I think he is worthy of his current price and of course there is the “insurance” on offer should he run 2nd – see the banner below.
