This week sees the Baku City Stadium, a street circuit in Baku, hosting the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and we take a look at the race from a betting perspective.
Mercedes took their third 1-2 finish of the season when Hamilton and Bottas took the first two positions at the Chinese Grand Prix two weeks ago. Sebastian Vettel completed the podium.
Lewis Hamilton took over the lead in the Drivers’ Championship Standings from Valtteri Bottas who is now 6 points behind him. Mercedes, on 130 points, top the Constructors Championship Standings 57 points ahead of their nearest rival Ferrari.

At the beginning of lap 49 in last year’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Bottas was leading the race by more than 1 second over Hamilton when he had to retire with a puncture. Hamilton went on to win the race with the runner-up spot going to Kimi Räikkönen and Sergio Perez climbing onto the bottom step of the podium.
