The Silverstone Circuit plays host to the British Grand Prix on Sunday the 8th July and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
Max Verstappen topped the podium at the Austrian Grand Prix last week. Kimi Räikkönen, who had the fastest lap, was runner-up with his teammate Sebastian Vettel finishing 3rd.
After the race the Drivers’ Championship Standings changed once again with Vettel back in top spot with just 1 point separating him from Lewis Hamilton who had to retire from the race due to fuel pressure. This was Hamilton’s first retirement since the Malaysia Grand Prix in 2016. Hamilton remains a firm favourite at 5/10 (from 4/10) to win the title with Vettel in from 22/10 to 16/10.

Suggested Bet: Hamilton win at 15/20
The 15/20 is as short a price as we have seen a favourite trade at all season but it is justified as Hamilton is going for an incredible 5th successive win here. Remember the World Sports Betting “Money Back” Promo for 2nd place (see details on the banner below) applies and that makes this bet even more attractive.
