The Monza circuit is the venue for this week’s Italian Grand Prix taking place on Sunday and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
Last week saw a dramatic opening lap multi-car accident in the Belgian Grand Prix with Sebastian Vettel taking the lead while chaos reigned behind He raced on to his 5th win of the season. Title rival Lewis Hamilton crossed in 2nd position with Max Verstappen completing the podium with an excellent drive.
Hamilton had started the race 24 points ahead of Vettel but after the race the gap had narrowed to 17 points and Hamilton has drifted from 4/10 to 15/20 with Vettel cut from 18/10 to 19/20 in the Championship betting.

Suggested Bet: Vettel win at 1/1
The Ferraris are going very well at the moment and they seem to have gained a slight edge on the Mercedes. Hamilton has an excellent record here but Vettel is also a past winner and based on what I saw last week I am happy to take the 1/1 that Vettel wins this and tightens the title race further.
