The Suzuka International Racing Course is once again the venue for the Japanese Grand Prix which takes place on Sunday and we take a look at the race from a betting perspective.
Lewis Hamilton opened up a huge lead in the Drivers’ Championship Standings of 50 points over his nearest rival, Sebastian Vettel, after winning the Russian Grand Prix a week ago. Hamilton’s team mate, Valtteri Bottas who had pole position and the fastest lap was runner-up with Vettel completing the podium.
Hamilton is now a 1/25 shot to win the title.

Suggested Bet: Vettel win at 19/10
Things have not been running Vettel’s way over the last few weeks and with Hamilton now a virtual certainty for the title he may actually feel the pressure has been lifted a bit. He won here in 2013 and with Hamilton able to drive more conservatively I am backing Vettel at twice the price of the race favourite.
