Formula 1, Mexico Grand Prix 2017, Betting Preview

The Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, in Mexico City plays host to the Mexico Formula 1 Grand Prix on Sunday the 29th October.

Lewis Hamilton started the USA Grand Prix last week 59 points ahead of Sebastian Vettel in the Drivers’ Championship standings but after his victory his lead was extended to 66 points and the title is all but secure given he started 1/100 for the title before that race.  Vettel was runner-up with his team-mate Kimi Raikkonen rounding off the podium.

Drivers’ Standings

Hamilton 331

Vettel 265

Bottas 244

Ricciardo 192

Raikkonen 163

Race History

Lewis Hamilton beat his team-mate and 2015 winner Nico Rosberg to take topspot on the podium.  Daniel Ricciardo completed the podium after both Max Verstappen and Sebastian Vettel were stripped of 3rd place podium finishes after being penalised for incidents which took place during the race.

Prices correct at time of posting but will change in the lead up to the race and there are a number of other markets on offer.

Suggested Bet: Hamilton win at 17/20

His price gets shorter but I will keep backing Hamilton until beaten. He showed last year that he enjoys the track and on current form he is hard to oppose and the final swinger for me is the World Sports Betting “Money Back” Promo for 2nd place – see details on the banner below.
