France topped Group C with 7 points, thanks to 2 victories and a draw.  That draw came in their final match against Denmark where neither team was able to find the back of the net and the points were shared, a result which suited both teams on the night. Prior to that France had beaten Peru and Australia by a single goal.

Argentina were only minutes away from exiting the World Cup before scoring a late winner against Nigeria and that victory saw them finish second behind Croatia in Group D.  In their other matches they lost 3-0 to Croatia and drew 1-1 with Iceland.

France and Argentina last met in 2009 in a friendly which Argentina won 2-0.

France 14/10

Draw 2/1

Argentina 47/20

Suggested bet:  The draw at 2/1

As it is the knock out stage of the tournament I am expecting some tight matches and this looks like a very evenly matched contest and I think there is a very strong chance we will be heading to extra time.
