The Los Angeles Clippers take on the Cleveland Cavaliers in what promises to be an interesting match.
It’s been a tough few weeks for the Cavaliers without LeBron James, they’ve lost 8 of their last 10 matches scoring over 100 points on only 3 occasions. The good news for the Cleveland side is that their talisman returned on Thursday to help them snap a 6 game losing streak. LeBron scored an impressive 36 points in their 109-102 victory over the LA Lakers. They will be looking to improve on their 9-11 away record when they travel to Los Angeles.
The LA Clippers find themselves in second place behind the Golden State Warriors in the Pacific Division. It’s unlikely they’ll be able to finish higher than the Warriors but they have the talent to give the Cavaliers a tough match. The Clippers are scoring an average of 106.2 points per game (5th highest in the league) while allowing an average of 99.8 points (16 highest in the league). They also hold a good advantage at home having won 7 of their last 10 matches at Staples Center.

LA Clippers 1/4, Cleveland Cavaliers 53/20
LA Clippers -8.5 9/10, Cleveland Cavaliers +8.5 15/20
Over 207.5 17/20, Under 207.5 8/10
The return of LeBron is a massive boost for the Cavaliers, as mentioned he scored an impressive 36 points in his last game. If the Cavs get a similar return from him against the Clippers then they will have a good chance at picking up the road win. I’m backing the side that will be full of confidence with the return of their talisman. Cleveland Cavaliers +8.5 at 15/20 is the call.
