We take a look at the 3 live Absa Premier League games taking place this weekend and suggest a bet in each.

Black Leopards v SuperSport Unitedclick here to bet

Black Leopards are up to 12th on the table after successive victories away at Baroka and at home to AmaZulu.  They have won 3 out of 7 home games this season and 2 of these 7 games have delivered for over 2.5 goal backers.  SuperSport are having a tough season and currently sit 8th with just 1 win in their last 6 matches.  They were beaten 1-0 at home by Cape Town City in their last start and have only won 2 out of 9 away matches this season.  When they have travelled the game have been low scoring, averaging just 1.4 goals each.

Suggested bet:  Leopards win at 22/10

The home team are in far better form and the bookies have appeared to have priced this one up on reputation.

Cape Town City v Barokaclick here to bet

Cape Town City are 7th on the table and are coming off successive victories away at SuperSport and at home to Bloem Celtic.  They have won 50% of their home games this season and these games have been amongst the highest in the PSL with 4 of the 8 delivering for over 2.5 goal backers and an average of 2.9 goals per game.  Baroka may have won a cup already this season but they are battling for survival and currently sit 14th with just 1 win in their last 4 starts.  They were beaten 2-1 at home by Black Leopards last time out and they have only taken 7 points from a possible 24 on the road.  Baroka away games have also been low scoring, averaging just 1.3 goals each.

Suggested bet:  Cape Town City clean sheet, YES at 23/20

Cape Town City have run into some decent form and Baroka are really struggling to find the net on their travels.

Bloem Celtic v Golden Arrowsclick here to bet

Sunday’s match pits 6th placed Bloem Celtic against 10th placed Golden Arrows.  Celtic broke a 4 match losing streak and a 5 match run without a victory when they beat Chippa United 1-0 away in their last start.  They have won 3 of 8 home games this season but haven’t won in their last 3 and Bloem Celtic fans haven’t seen many goals with their 8 games averaging just 1.4 goals each.  Arrows are also coming off a victory having beaten Maritzburg United 2-0 at home but they have only won once on the road in 8 attempts and their away games have averaged just under 2 goals each.

Suggested bet:  The draw at 19/10

These sides look very evenly matched and historically there is usually not much between them although Celtic did beat Arrows by 2-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season.
