Scotland will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to South Africa when they host Argentina at Murrayfield on Saturday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.
Scotland had their chances but failed to take advantage of them and lost 26-20 to South Africa at home last week. That was on the back of a comfortable 54-17 home win over Fiji and a 21-10 defeat to Wales on the road. Scotland have only lost 2 of their last 12 home games and that was to South Africa and to New Zealand a year ago.
Argentina were disappointing in going down 28-13 to France away last week, a game in which they started 6.5 point underdogs. They had previously lost to Ireland in Dublin although on that occasion the 11 point margin was enough to see them beat the 16 point handicap and Argentina have lost 7 of their last 8 games in the Northern Hemisphere with the only victory coming against Italy last year.
Scotland have won their last 2 home matches against Argentina by 3 points in 2016 and 10 points in 2014, prior to that Argentina had dominance with 4 successive victories at Murrayfield.

Scotland -7.5 at 9/10
Argentina +7.5 at 9/10
Suggested bet: Winning Margin, Scotland by under 12.5 points at 15/10.
I expect Scotland will have slightly too much for Argentina but this could be a close game and quite possibly an entertaining one as well. Argentina have shown me enough this season to have me confident that they will not get blown away.
