Scotland and South Africa meet at Murrayfield on Saturday and the visitors look set to start around 5 or 6 point favourites.
Scotland bounced back to an away defeat to Wales to beat Fiji 54-17 at home last weekend, comfortably beating the 17 point handicap. They won both their home matches in the Six Nations against England and France and in last year’s November Internationals they stunned Australia 53-24 and went down by just 5 points to New Zealand.
South Africa opened their November International Tour with a 1 point defeat to England in a low scoring game at Twickenham and they will have been disappointed with the result having dominated large parts of the match. They were then trailing against France heading towards the hooter when they managed to string together a run of penalties which ultimately saw them score a try to win the match by 3 points.
The Boks have not played away in Scotland since 2013 when they won 28-0 and they have won 5 of their last 6 on the road against the Scots with none of the last 5 matches played at Murrayfield reaching 40 points. These sides last met in a pool match in the World Cup in 2015 with South Africa winning 34-16, their fifth successive victory over the Scots.

South Africa 9/20
Scotland +5.5 at 9/10
South Africa -5.5 at 9/10
Suggested bet: Handicap, Scotland (+5.5) at 9/10.
Scotland will be fired up for this one and while South Africa could potentially take control up front, I am not convinced they will and I think they have got a battle on their hands here.
