The final match in the ODI series between South Africa and India takes place at Supersport Park on Friday, India are 4-1 up and hence have already clinched the series and in doing so they have also replaced the Proteas at the top of the ICC ODI rankings.
India clinched the series with a 73 run victory at Port Elizabeth on Tuesday. Batting first they posted 274/7, a total which had looked likely to be far higher on the back of Rohit Sharma’s 115. As was the case in the rain affected 4th ODI at the Wanderers, India lost their way when 300 plus looked likely but this time the runs they did score proved more than adequate.
In reply Amla and Markram put on 52 for the first wicket but Miller and Klaasen were the only other South African’s to reach double figures and Yadav claimed another 4 wickets. Both sides hit 4 maximums and Sharma was Man of the Match.
The teams now return to Centurion which also hosted the second match of this series which saw South Africa bowled out for 118 and India completed a 9 wicket win.

Bet: Top Home Batsman, Amla at 28/10
Amla has made runs in the last two matches and whilst he has been nowhere near his best, his ability to anchor an innings sways us to giving him the vote to top score for the Proteas.
