Local horse racing takes place at the Fairview Polytrack on Monday with the first race due off at 12h00 and the 9th and final race at 16h40.  One of the best bets on the card looks to be Captain Hook, number 1 in the 4th race currently priced at 11/10 the win and 2/7 for a top 2 finish.

The women’s COSAFA Cup continues on Monday with 3 matches including South Africa against MadagascarBanyana Banyana have clearly benefitted from the experience of the World Cup and they followed up their massive win over the Comoros with a 3-1 victory over Malawi in Port Elizabeth on Friday.  They are 1/25 to beat Madagascar who are 14/1 the same price as the draw.

Excitement is building ahead of the weekends final Rugby Championship fixtures and South Africa are 4/10 to win the trophy ahead of New Zealand 2/1 and Australia 18/1.
