The Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas is the venue for this week’s PGA Tour event, the Hero World Challenge and Justin Rose heads what looks a very strong field.
This is, of course, a limited invitation only event and there are just 18 players taking to the first tee.
The course itself is a par 72 layout designed by Ernie Els who is playing this week in Mauritius at another course designed by him. Wind can be a factor but the course is very much there for the taking when conditions are calm. Distance off the tee can be an advantage but more important in my view will be to putt and chip well.

20/1 and better the balance, prices correct at the time of posting but are subject to change
Patrick Reed each way at 20/1
Reed has been campaigning on the European Tour and he has been in consistent form with a runner-up finish and a top 10 in his last 3 starts. He also has some solid course form here with 3 top 10’s including a 5th place last year and a runner-up finish in 2015.
Bryson Dechambeau each way at 12/1
Dechambeau showed he is ready for another big season with a victory in his last start and I am not expecting the fact that he has no course experience to count against him here.
Patrick Cantlay each way at 25/1
Cantlay has yet to play this course but he is a very solid player and he has been incredibly consistent of late with 3 successive top 20’s including a runner-up finish in his last start.
