The Sea Island Resort in Georgia is the venue for this week’s PGA Tour event and we have had a number of outsiders winning over the years.
The players will tee up at two courses this week namely, the Plantation Course and the Seaside Course with the Seaside Course being used for the final 2 rounds. The Plantation Course is a par 72 layout with generous fairways but there is water around which can punish any wild shots. The Seaside Course is very exposed to the elements and the par 70 layout plays very differently to the Plantation Course.
Webb Simpson tops the betting boards at 9/1 ahead of recent winner, Cameron Champ at 18/1 and you can get 21/1 and better the field

Cameron Champ 18/1
J.J. Spaun 20/1
C.T. Pan 22/1
Chesson Hadley 25/1
Austin Cook 30/1
Russell Henley 30/1
Lucas Glover 30/1
33/1 and better the balance, prices correct at the time of posting but are subject to change
Cameron Champ each way at 18/1
Champ continues to hold form and having won 3 weeks ago he has followed that up with a top 30 and a top 10 last week. He is a strong putter and that will be necessary on a course where a low winning score is almost guaranteed.
Lucas Glover each way at 30/1
Glover let me down two weeks ago when he made a triple bogey on the 72nd hole to cost me place money. The top 10 finish was another in a consistent run and he has a top 10 finish to his credit in his penultimate start here.
Chris Kirk each way at 50/1
Kirk has very impressive course form with a top 5 last year and a top 20 two years before that. His previous strong showings, including his win 5 years ago, were at different venues though. Kirk’s recent form hasn’t been great with a couple of top 50’s in his last two starts.
Nick Watney each way at 90/1
Watney is a player which appears to be coming back to some sort of form and he has made 3 successive cuts with a top 30 finish in his last start.
