The Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is the venue for this week’s Austrian MotoGP and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.
A week ago at the Czech Republic MotoGP, Andrea Dovizioso topped the podium with his teammate Jorge Lorenzo taking the runner-up spot and championship leader Marc Marquez settling for third place.
Despite the 3rd place finish, Marquez improved his lead from 46 to 49 points over Valentino Rossi in the Drivers’ Championship Standings and he is a 1/25 shot to defend his title.
Marc Marquez 181
Valentino Rossi 132
Andrea Dovizioso 113
Maverick Vinales 109
Jorge Lorenzo 105

Last year Andrea Dovizioso was first over the line with Marc Marquez, who had started in pole position, taking 2nd spot and Dani Pedrosa completing the podium.
Suggested Bet: Dovizioso win at 21/10
Dovizioso has a combination of track and current form and with Marquez perhaps riding a bit more defensively given his lead in the championship I think he warrants a bet here especially with the insurance of the 2nd place Money Back promo.
Prices correct at time of posting but will fluctuate in the lead up to the race
