The Twin Ring Motegi is the venue for the Japanese MotoGP on Sunday and we take a look at the race from a betting perspective.
Two weeks ago at the inaugural Thailand MotoGP it was who Marc Marquez took the chequered flag after a last lap battle with Andrea Dovizioso who was runner-up. It was a back-to-back win for Marquez who had won the previous MotoGP at Aragon. Maverick Vinales completed the trio.
Marquez now leads the title race by 77 points and bookmakers are no longer offering betting on the Championship which is effectively in the bag.
Marc Marquez 271
Andrea Dovizioso 194
Valentino Rossi 172
Maverick Vinales 146

Prices correct at time of posting but will fluctuate in the lead up to the race
The Japan MotoGP was the 15th round of the 2017 MotoGP season, Andrea Dovizioso won the race, Marc Marquez was runner-up with Danilo Petrucci taking 3rd spot on the podium.
Suggested Bet: Dovizioso win at 9/4
He is the defending champ and is riding very well. Marquez does not have to win to take the title and this might give Dovizioso a slight edge.
