The Thailand MotoGP 2018, Race Preview

The Thailand MotoGP will be joining the 2018 Championship Calendar after signing a three year deal.  The Buriram International Circuit plays host to its first MotoGP this week and we look at the race from a betting angle.

The Aragon MotoGP a fortnight ago was won by championship leader Marc Marquez. Andrea Dovizioso took 2nd spot with Andrea Iannone completing the podium.  Marquez now has a commanding lead of 72 points in the Drivers’ Championship Standings and he is a 1/500 shot for the title.

Championship Points

Marc Marquez 246

Andrea Dovizioso 174

Valentino Rossi 159

Jorge Lorenzo 130

Maverick Vinales 130

Marquez 17/20

Dovizioso 5/2

Lorenzo 5/1

Rossi 12/1

Crutchlow 14/1

Prices correct at time of posting but will fluctuate in the lead up to the race

Suggested Bet: Lorenzo win at 5/1

Lorenzo went crashing out early in Aragon but he has been showing signs of the form that took him to the title a couple of years back. Marquez is the man to beat but Lorenzo strikes me as the value at more than 5 times the price.
