Tour de France 2018 Stage 21 Preview

The 2018 edition of the Tour de France concludes with Stage 21 on Sunday when the riders finish on the Champs-Élysées in Paris which usually sees a bunch sprint.

Race Update:

Stage 20 saw Dumoulin pip Froome to win the ITT and Thomas did what he needed to do to come home safely and secure the yellow jersey. It all means that Geraint Thomas will win the GC with Tom Dumoulin second and Froome third.

The Points Classification will be won by an injured Peter Sagan who is dragging himself to Paris and the King of the Mountains competition will go to Alaphilippe. Movistar will win the Team Classification and Latour the best young rider.

Stage Profile

The stage is 116km in length and pan flat and in keeping with tradition we won’t see any attacks until we hit the centre of Paris where the riders navigate multiple circuits with the finish line on the Champs-Élysées.

Stage Winner

Arnaud Demare 1/1

Alexander Kristoff 7/2

Peter Sagan 4/1

Christophe Laporte 8/1

John Degenkolb 12/1

Magnus Cort Nielsen 14/1

18/1 and upwards the rest

Note, prices are correct at the time of writing but are subject to change.

With virtually all the top sprinters out and main rival Sagan injured a strong lead out train for Demare should ensure a perfect position and we fancy he is a good bet in a diluted field.

Suggested Bets: Arnaud Demare 1/1
