Wales v Australia, International Rugby Preview

Wales host Australia at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff in what should be a cracking Rugby International on Saturday and we take a look at the game from a betting angle.

Wales put in an impressive performance last week, beating Scotland 21-10 at home to beat the 6.5 point handicap.  It was their 6th successive International win dating back to their last 2 home matches of the Six Nations when they beat France and Italy.  In last year’s November Internationals they beat South Africa but lost to New Zealand and Australia.

Australia were in action in the Bledisloe Cup two weeks ago, losing by 17 points to New Zealand in Japan.  They finished the Rugby Championship with two wins, one away to Argentina and the other at home to South Africa and in last year’s November Internationals they beat Wales but lost to Scotland and England.

This is a regular fixture on the International calendar and Australia have won their last 8 games in Wales with 6 of the last 7 wins by 9 points or less.

Wales 15/20

Draw 22/1

Australia 12/10

Wales -2.5 at 9/10

Australia +2.5 at 9/10

Suggested bet:  Australia win at 12/10.

This should be a typically competitive match between the sides and I am going to go with the Australians who somehow always seem to find a way to beat the Welsh.
